Askham
The picture postcard village of Askham is within walking distance. It has a great village shop, outdoor swimming pool , two fabulous pubs and also the Michelin starred Askham Hall with a beautiful garden cafe! After wandering through the pretty village, you can walk up onto Askham fell with stunning castle views! When you reach the top you get a wonderful view of majestic Ullswater! The scenery is amazing. You can walk down to Pooley Bridge from here along the Ullswater Way.

Daisypop Cottage is next to a public footpath that is part of the Lowther Estate! There are miles of footpaths to explore with varied scenery through the forest, parkland and deer park! There are beautiful mountain views!
